Sara White’s work aims to cause a reaction within the viewer; whether it be positive or negative. Many of her series are unsettling in nature and translate those feelings to the viewer. Working both digitally and analog she uses both mediums to tell different narratives. Typically using black and white film to convey a message of the inner self or inner workings of ones mind while using digital color to retell an outward experience or physical manifestation; either in the third or first person perspective. Using these two different mediums allows Sara's work to tell these narratives in greater detail and efficiency.
Sara has recently graduated with her BFA from the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in Lancaster, PA.
